Hanging it well

Hang the centre of a piece at about 145 to 155 cm from the floor, which is roughly eye level for most people. Above a sofa or console, leave 15 to 25 cm of clear wall between the furniture and the bottom of the frame. A single large piece almost always reads better than several small ones spread across a wall.

Preserved moss needs no care

The moss in these pieces is stabilised, so it needs no water, no light and no feeding. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from damp, and dust it gently with a soft brush. It holds its colour for years.

Care for the wood

Dust with a soft dry brush, working into any carved detail. Keep pieces off damp walls and out of long direct sunlight. Avoid sprays and chemical cleaners.
