Dining tables

What we build

• Epoxy river tables: a seam of coloured resin running the length of a solid slab, in blue, green, black and pearl finishes
• Live edge slabs: the natural edge of the tree left intact along both sides
• Conference and boardroom tables: longer spans in walnut and redwood for offices
• Table and bench sets: matched seating cut from the same timber

Sizing a dining table

Allow around 60 cm of table edge per person, and at least 90 cm of clear floor between the table and the nearest wall so chairs pull out properly. Four seaters usually sit around 4 to 4.5 ft long, six seaters around 6 ft, and eight seaters 7.5 ft and up. Tell us the room and we will tell you what fits.

Made to order, not held in stock

Every table is built for the order. Production takes 45 to 60 days, because epoxy and resin need time to cure properly and a piece that is rushed will fail later. Delivery is quoted once the table is finished, since the cost depends on its size and your address.

Care

Use mats under hot dishes and coasters under glasses. Wipe spills straight away. Keep the table out of long direct sunlight and away from heaters and AC vents, which dry the wood unevenly. The finish resists stains from tea, coffee and wine, but no finish resists scratches from cutlery.
