What is in this collection

  • Islamic calligraphy: hand carved Kalma, Masha'Allah, Allahu Akbar and the Allah and Muhammad (SAW) heart shaped pair
  • Wall clocks: carved calligraphy dials and one of a kind live edge slabs
  • Naqshi art: hand painted pieces in traditional floral patterns
  • Live edge accents: tables, lamps and decor cut from solid slabs with the natural edge left intact

Building a wall around one piece

A single large carved piece, 14 inches or more, does more for a wall than several small ones scattered about. Hang it at eye level on the wall people see first when they walk in, and leave space around it. Smaller pieces work better in pairs, either side of a doorway or above a console.

Care

Dust with a soft dry brush, working into the carved detail where dust collects. Keep pieces away from damp walls and long direct sunlight. Avoid sprays and chemical cleaners on the wood.

Made by hand

Every piece is cut, carved or painted by hand, so grain, colour and detail vary from one to the next. Live edge pieces are unique by definition, since no two slabs are the same shape.
