What a console table does

A console is a narrow table built to sit against a wall, usually 12 to 16 inches deep so it does not intrude on a walkway. It works in an entrance hall for keys and post, behind a sofa in an open plan room, or along a corridor that needs something at eye level.

What we build

• Live edge consoles: a long slab with the natural edge running the front, on metal or wooden legs
• Resin and epoxy consoles: a poured seam through the length of the top
• Matte and high gloss finishes: matte for a quieter room, gloss where you want the grain to catch light

Getting the proportions right

Behind a sofa, the console should sit at or just below the sofa back, and run about two thirds of its length. In a hallway, leave at least 90 cm of clear passing space in front of it. Tell us the wall and we will cut to it.

Made to order

Each console is built for the order, 45 to 60 days, with delivery quoted once it is finished.
